
Dr Tamasine Preece is Curriculum Lead for Health and Wellbeing at a secondary school in South Wales and founder of See What Works troubleshooting and consultancy for Health and Wellbeing, PSHE and RSE. She is also co-founder of Humanise. Following the completion of her PhD on the subject of Adolescent Suicide, Self-harm, and Social Media Use she has carried out freelance consultancy alongside her teaching, predominantly in fields related to social media, self-harm and suicide, exploitation, sexual health and substance misuse.
As an advocate for the teaching of pornography through the lens of exploitation, Tamasine consults regularly for US Not For Profit Culture Reframed on matters related to Relationship and Sex Education, and was a member of the Expert Panel for national charity Internet Matters from 2018 until early 2025. Tamasine has previously presented her work on Inclusive Relationship and Sex Education at national and international events and conferences, including at two APPGs, Health in Wales (NHS), Inside Government, Westminster Briefing, Hackney Learning Trust, Manchester Urban Collaboration on Health, the Department for Education, the Institute of Psychosexual Medicine, and Culture Reframed. She has also worked with schools to develop bespoke Relationship and Sex Education policy, curriculum and resources and in response to specific challenges including schools impacted by Everyone’s Invited and the TikTok protests.
